On March 1st, 2014 as part of Hydro-Québec’s Nuit blanche à Montréal, Studio Béluga and Le Nouveau International joined forces to present Art.Démolition, a participatory installation of construction and eventual destruction.

Théâtre Ste. Catherine was the host of this ephemeral work by artist Maxime Geraldes. Initially contemplative and eventually participative, this late-night work transformed the space with suspended objects and the manipulation of light to create an atmosphere of poetic playfullness. The public was invited to participate in the creation of the piece and stay for its 3AM demolition.

Le 1er Mars 2014, dans le cadre de la Nuit blanche d’Hydro-Québec à Montréal, Studio Béluga et Le Nouveau International s’est unissé pour présenter: Art.Démolition, une installation artistique participative fondée sur le principe deconstruction et de démolition collective. L’oeuvre éphémère à été conçue par l’artist Maxime Geraldes au Théâtre Ste. Catherine. Contemplative au départ, l’oeuvre a devenu participative et a transformé l’espace avec des objets suspendus et des installations lumineuses pour créer une atmosphère ludique et poétique. Le grand public à été invité à participer à la création de l’oeuvre et à y rester jusqu’à sa démolition qui, elle, aurait lieu à 3h00.
