LE TAVERNAC suit Charlie Dibbles, un ex-pat écrivain New Yorkais et sa romance envers le quartier Rosemont et la taverne, ainsi appelé Le Tavernac. Une image différente de Montréal, avec des jeunes familles, des vieux « bluesman », et une madame qui habite sur un balcon….

Alain Mercieca’s first play set in Montréal, originally performed in the Old Theatre Sainte-Catherine in 2005, this new adapted version is a natural renovation of the script that still encapsulates the spirit of those times.

Une comédie qui oscille entre les ténèbres de l’existence et la beauté profonde des relations qui définissent Montréal.
