Le Nouveau International se lance dans la forme de comédie musicale pour la troisième fois avec cette pièce. Après le succès de SQUEEGEE NIGHTS et THE ONLY BAR, « ATM » s’annonce encore plus prometteur et épique.

Un boursier riche tombe en amour avec une femme de la classe ouvrière pendant que l’économie roule. Mais la crise économique frappe, les riches veulent à tout prix rester riche et ce par tous les moyens, et alors l’amour de Catherine et Jacob se trouve dans une très mauvaise passe. Famille, argent, meurtre et trahison. Une comédie satirique qui évoque le style South Park et qui a comme personnage un guichet automatique, « ATM » met au pilori cet aspect le plus important, le plus incompris, le plus éculé de notre société et culture moderne: « L’ÉCONOMIE ».

Le Nouveau’s third foray into the musical form, and after the success of SQUEEGEE NIGHTS and THE ONLY BAR, ATM: The Musical is shaping up to be the most epic of all.

A wealthy stock broker falls in love with a working class girl as the economy rolls strong. But once the crisis hits, their love falls into a deep duress and the wealthiest will go to any means to stay wealthy. Family, money, murder and betrayal. Featuring an Automated Teller Machine as a character, this comedic romp is a South Park-style satire of the most overused, misunderstood and important aspect of our modern culture, “THE ECONOMY” .
